Therefore you are able to write off 30% of the total installation cost of the solar system against your federal net tax liability.

STATE REBATE -Through the California Solar Initiative, the State will pay for 20-25% of the installation cost of the solar system.. In systems below 50,000 watts the State will send you a rebate for $ 1.55 per watt of power generated by the system. On larger systems, they pay over 60 months. Bingham Construction will manage all of the regulatory work required for you to begin receiving your rebates.

AVAILABLE FINANCING - Bingham Construction has partnered with financial investment firms to provide Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s) to building owners. A PPA is a long-term agreement between the financing firm and the owner that allows the financing firm to purchase, install, own, and operate the solar system and then sell the electricity generated from the system to the owner. At the end of the PPA agreement, the owner may elect to purchase the solar system outright or extend the PPA. A PPA can be structured so that there are no out of pocket expenses.
